I need to build my credit, and I thought this would be a fun question.
What happens if I try and spend over my limit?

I have a credit card and its got a pretty small limit. What happens if say I try and spend $1200 on the card when it has only a limit of $600.
Will it just get denied? Any personal experiences? I'm just worried that I'll end up over my limit by mistake and I want to know what happens.
I know that I would probably get into smoe trouble with the company involving heavy interest rates and such.
