Q: What happens if I try and spend over my limit?
Submitted By: right.h.man, 309 days, 12 hours, 58 minutes ago
I have a credit card and its got a pretty small limit. What happens if say I try and spend $1200 on the card when it has only a limit of $600.
Will it just get denied? Any personal experiences? I'm just worried that I'll end up over my limit by mistake and I want to know what happens.
I know that I would probably get into smoe trouble with the company involving heavy interest rates and such.

All credit card companies vary...they may actually do it and raise you interest rate to the 30% range til its paid off....beware!
