just get the motorcycle! Tell your wife that itll be alot easier to weigh the pros and cons if you can see them first-hand. then later on you can have the discussion about 'does the bike stay or go?' if youre wife says yes then congratulations, you have a motorcycle. if she says no then just chuckle and say 'too bad.'

I convinced my wife to let me get one a couple years ago. Then I crashed. Thankfully I didn't get hit by a car or anything. I say if you have kids, don't get one, if you do not have kids, do it! There is nothing like taking a ride on a nice sunny day. Then again road rash sucks.

Not only are they fun to ride but most are significantly more efficient than cars, and their insurance rate is low.

Maintenance gas weather

Pro: You'll spend a lot less on general maintenance and gasoline for a motorcycle. Con: You can't haul anything and bad weather trumps any driving plans
