Q: What digital video camera is the best value?

I've been browsing digital video cameras and am curious if anyone could offer some recommendations, preferably from their own use. Also looking to buy one and not get ripped off, so any advice aboutt hat would be helpful as well. Thanks!

I always buy sony cameras they're a good value and great quality... I'm not sure if you're the same way but if I don't get quality no matter how cheap the camera is I wouldn't buy it..
Usually the way I research is look for like top 10 cameras for the year, read a couple articles to see if the one you pick is compared againts another one and then head over to http://www.steves-digicams.com/ to get the best review you can get on a camera... then you should have a good pick :) Good Luck
