Q: Where can I convert my 8mm Analog Video tapes Inexpesively?

The Camera died but all the new 8MM cameras are digital.
I need to get them on DVD before the tapes fade away.

Digital 8 can read analog 8mm

Any of the digital 8mm camcorders can play your analog 8mm tapes. In fact, I believe most of them will convert them in real time to digital and output that as a DV signal from their Firewire/iLink port. You can connect that port to a computer to capture it. Then you can edit on computer and then burn to DVD.
Or an easier method would be to get a DVD recorder with a Firewire input, connect the digital 8 camcorder, and start recording.
Even easier, although it takes it out of your hands, is to bring the tapes to a Walgreens or similar store that will convert them to DVD with auto menus, etc.

I know here in Toronto we have a production house that handles media conversions and its not too expensive... you would be surprised... give one a call in your area.
