Q: What happens in an artist's future?

Artists have like just 2 or 3 big breaks. After that what happens to them? Do they earn enough during that break or do they take small time jobs afetr their big break?

Most artists today aren't these "Wow, you're totally awesome!" sort of people like U2 or the Beatles or the Rolling Stones, etc. GOOD bands can make a continuous living at it. I would venture to say that most "artists" today end up going back to the real world though (right where they belong.) As Thom Yorke has said in the past, the reason people don't buy music today (and download it instead) is because there's not a whole lot worth buying...
