Q: Preserved duck eggs, what are they good for?
Submitted By: mister.joshua, 47 days, 23 hours, 56 minutes ago
I bought some of these and found them quite interesting. They don't taste like food, but the texture is nice. I have a feeling they would be good as a garnish or flavoring for something else. But what? And how are they used in China?

not quite sure if you are talking about the salt ones or the dark ones. Normally we just eat these with rice porridge at breakfast. There is a preserved egg and pork porridge dish that you'll find in most cantonese dimsum restaurants. Also I have seem a dish where the preserved and salted duck eggs are used as flavoring in a stir fried spinich dish.
hope this helps
