Red Bull has more than any other energy drink. See http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/caffeine/caffeine_info1.shtml

APPLES.... natures energy food (100% juice is great for a good wakeup)

Generally true when fresh, I think, and better for your life being more disease  free methinks. I like fresh carrot juice myself, as it oxidizes more slowly. Although fresh apple's juice with lemon make great lemonade.

Energy?
Submitted By: Sandan Judoka ( 49 days, 5 hours, 36 minutes ago )
Okay, those caffeine-laden sugar waters don't give energy. They spike your blood glucose level, wake you up a bit, and then let you down like Wile E. Coyote's Acme Batman Suit - crash! Drink water. Drink a lot of water. If you are exercising, find a good hydration drink with electrolytes and a variety of sugars (from glucose to maltodextrin, to keep from spiking your blood sugar). And don't believe the hype. The more you spend on advertising, the less substance behind the product. This is what NASA has been giving space shuttle astronauts for 15 years: http://www.shaklee.net/build/product/Performance

Informed... Thanks for the info. Though too much water reduces intestinals water soluable vitamin levels, and makes you hungry to make up for it. Almost always better than the table sugar loaded drinks by far though, even if more than ideal level of water are drunk.

No...seriously.

Can help sometimes, but frequent use can make you dependant, and that's worse than not driking it. Should only be used infrequently (no more than weekly) in any great quantity (more than approx. an 8oz. cup) for most people's best health. A few people though it helps them to be more active in important aspects of their lives, which is good IMO, as long as it doesn't become an excused addiction. An apple in the morning has studies showing it more effective at waking people up than coffee, even for most coffee dependants...

Espresso

I'm talking about the shots, not drinks made with them.  Go to a coffee place and order 4 shots of espresso in a cup.  You will be bouncing off the walls in minutes.  Great for staying up all night too.

Depends on what you really mean by energy. If you mean heat/kilojoules/sugar/energy (the real useful measure) then just check the sugar content per serve. Whichever has the most sugar....and I think the winner is actually Fanta in that case.****eloads of sugar.

If you mean the "feeling" of Energy, then it goes to whichever has the most caffeine in it...which is probably jolt cola, or just go for a jumbo mega shot espresso...its all the same caffeine.

Submitted By: drob ( 49 days, 16 hours and 45 seconds ago )
For taste I would go with Monster For energy, go for RED LINE (found at GNC or Vitamin Shoppee)
Submitted By: dude
careful with the RED LINE though. that stuff packs quite a punch, so best to start with maybe half a can/bottle before a workout. after a week or so move up to the whole drink.

Milk and honey works magic sometimes. Raw honey that's cloudy is best, that's cloudiness, as I understand, is the antibacterial qualities visibly preserved. I think it's required to be cloudy like that in Hungry for that very reason, or so I've heard.
