So far I found "Stick Arena" at Xgenstudios.com and "SVC" at onlinestreetfighters.com, they have a good amount of users playing online,
BTW I dont want any partypoker/casino type games, I want FREE GAMES you can play online against other players. I find myself bored on the computer and need some Geeky interactions.

Star Sonata

I've been playing Star Sonata for quite some time now (http://www.StarSonata.com). It is like Star Control or a 2d version of Elite, but as an MMO. There's so much to do and lots of people to chat with and fight with. It's free up to level 20, and a lot of people are content to stay there, but you can then later pay $10 to go to higher levels.

They just made a version of the game that is free, but limits the lvl you can get too. Still very fun, free and lots of people.

In my opinion the best online multiplayer game is World of Warcraft but if you don't want to spend too much money I'd suggest buying Guild Wars as it doesn't have a monthly fee (you only pay for the game and that's it). If you want a 100% free game I'd suggest playing Fly For Fun a.k.a. FlyFF - nice graphics, nice interface and nice gameplay.
