Try www.thisoldhouse.com, they have been a running a home improvement show on my local public broadcasting station for over 20 years now, there is also a related site, www.newyankeeworkshop.com with some really good projects on it, mostly furniture, etc, not home repairs, and of course, there is always google or if you post a more specific question, I'm sure you could find some answers here on questionville
