How ignorant do you have to be to post a questio

I have an IQ above 160. I grew up in a democratic household and was sprayed with liberal propaganda in college. I have since taken the time to understand what it means to be a liberal and found that it is unethical. I traveled to Iraq before the war. I met the population, spoke with the people. The vast majority lived in a constant state of terror because at any time they or a loved one could be taken, tortured, raped, sodomized and killed for without provocation. It is unethical to promote such a vile and disgusting regime. I stand for the president. I am very sorry that that the uniformed masses required more reasons to remove the butcher from his killing grounds. I am not naive enough to believe we moved on Iraq because of the horrors that were taking place, but I will accept any reason that coincides with life, humanity and civil rights. George W. Bush stands for a smaller government, with the power in the hands of the people. Think of a government where we decide what is right and wrong instead of corporations. If you feel you must disparage the president then by all means state your opinions, but to do so without presenting an argument as to why your opinions are correct is the act of a moron.

"George W. Bush stands for a smaller government, with the power in the hands of the people. Think of a government where we decide what is right and wrong instead of corporations" How is this true at all!? The Bush administrations has been steadily centralizing power since it has come in (the Patriot Act? Wiretaps? Homeland Security? Trying to pass a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage?). Further, for Bush/his advisors corporations DETERMINE what is right or wrong-we have SO MANY tax incentives for corporations and prioritize large company profits over middle class citizens, not to mention the poor) That doesn't even address the fact that it is certainly not living by the "right" to decide to invade Iraq, try to create reasons for it (plans to paints US planes UN colors and get them shot at), lie about the reasons to the world/citizens, and disregard the "people" he is SO concerned about. Finally, what about civil liberties? Hatred of gays, Patriot Act, etc...

The predication that Bush is a moron is faulty. He is definatly smarter than the other choice so it would take a moron to not vote for him, if only as the lesser of two evils. To answer your question, I voted for him, and I continue to support him overwhelmingly. Any President will make mistakes, and it's easy to criticise, but with few exceptions Bush has been doing the job that the 51% of American people who elected him want him to do. I am technically a genius. Having recently completed the standard battery of intelligence and personality inventories, I scored 163, which is genius with room to spare. I'm not fooled by the polemics who criticize Bush, or by the 'useful idiots' who spend all their productive time bashing Bush on the Internet instead of coming up with alternatives to Bush's policies, and I'm not even amused by the talking heads on the idiot box whose job is to market the news to the somnambulant public.

Amen to that!!!

Whoa.  You just used "somnambulant" in a sentence.

Of course, you did spell "definitely" wrong, but I'll chalk that up to hastiness.

How is it obvious that he's smarter than Kerry?  For that matter, is intelligence even a measure of a good president?

Just what is a moron

Sad that questions are the only answers to very complex problems. Sad that we are being pounded by biased rhetoric from all sides that is based on relatively unknown and unproven stories full of misinformation missing undeniable facts. We must move toward more factual knowledge before we take a shot in the dark at one or more reasons why the President is, or is not the worlds answer to stupidity or sage perspective. I recall the same disparaging terms used for other presidents on both sides - few have met the test of history or hind site. Stick to undeniable facts and patience and you will know the truth.

Stupid, eh?
Submitted By: azGFX ( 311 days, 1 hour, 1 minute ago )
Right, whatever. Stupid is voting for a democrat who "founded the internet." Stupid is voting for abortion to be legal. Stupid is jumping off buildings (with or without a parachute). These are all stupid things. Bush is very intellectual. Yes I am Republican and darn proud of it. Anyone who calls me stupid for voting for someone I feel should be pres, is infact the idiot. B/c you cannot go by IQ. Rather it is based on your beliefs, your ideals, your goals, desires, etc, etc, etc. I do not agree with everything he does, but I do support him what he does.

Dem vs. Rep

Try the breakdown of IQ's between those who vote Democrat and those who vote Republican. That would give you a better answer since most vote along their party affiliation.
Submitted By: wee
Every Republican is not some "fat redneck ignorant idiot" as well as every democrat is not a "baby killing propaganda spreading no tax paying pansie."

I think the base of things is that this country is so polarized that we can't even come to any common ground.  I'm not a democrat, but I'm certainly not a republican.  I lean more to the left on most things and voted for Kerry.  But I am definitely willing to work with my fellow American on any issue.  I'm upset about the way Bush is handling things (like wiretapping) however that doesn't mean I write off every single person as a "moron" that voted for him.

I think the majority of the people in the US are born and raised Democratic or Republican and they will vote the same until they die. They don't care who it is that's leading their country, as long it's from their party. So I don't think it's stupidity in the way you mean it. I agree with your point of view towards GW Bush. When Clinton lied nobody died.

Dude, not helping the level of dialogue.  This is just a blind assertion posed as a question -- we're you really expecting to get any response other then "YEH!  Those stupid Rethuglicans!" or "So's your mom!"?

And don't get me started on the accuracy of IQ tests.
