Q: Study of becoming an astronaut?

I've been wondering: what do you call the study of becoming an astronaut? For instance, if you study to become a doctor, you say you're studying medicine. If you study to become a musician, you'd say you're studying music, engineer-engineering, etc, etc. So what's the study of becoming an astronaut? Is there one?
