Q: Has the battle between HD DVD and BlueRay been decided?

There's been a lot of talk about the rivalry between the two technologies. Perhaps neither of them will win, like how we ended up with both DVD

HD DVD vs BlueRay

The HD DVD and BlueRay battle has yet begun. The technologies' delays for release in the American market have caused many potential consumers grief. At this point in time, all you can do is wait. Factors that will be weapons in this war are cost per disc title and cost of the player themselves. LG has announced to release a dual format (HD DVD and BlueRay) player later this year. The other factor that may be of concern is what format will movie companies produce the most? Eager buyers are ready for the HD revolution on disc, but it is hard to tell who will win this one as of yet...
