All in all I find the design, the color scheme and the layout to be somewhat pleasing. What I do not find pleasing is the content in the header. The logo looks like a rush job and the dropshadowed type "Ask a question....." seems a lot less contemporary and stylish than the rest of the site.

The site is new. It's not that ugly. But if you don't like it, it would make sense to suggest a feature in the "What are some features you would like to see here?" question in The New Web category. I think the ability to personalize the look of the site would be a great addition to this site.
