I would like to create a proxy page so that I can get around the web filters at my office. There are many of these online, but all are generally blocked. I can't change any of the settings on my local machine. I have web space on a web service, and would like to host the page on there, and be able to type addresses into the page to have content brought up, thereby bypassing the filters.
Is this possible in any reasonably simple terms?

I am going to try to design a stock analysis web page for personal use, and I need to import data and graphs from many different free sites and move them into one for easy use. I know a decent amount of html, but don't know how to import the data. I want to be able to:
1. Input a stock symbol
2. Bring up necessary current data imported from other sites
3. Bring in current graphs drawn by other sites, some of which require free registration
4. Be able to analyze the data through formulas using excel in the page
Again this is just for personal use. I need to know what tools/languages will be necessary yet simplest for this task. I use a mac, so my excel doesn't have the automatic web query feature like the pc.
I don't expect you to make a page for me, just a good push in the right direction would be hugely appreciated.

Ok, I've recieved an email I want to forward to people in my contact list. So I click the little forward button at the bottom of the email, and it brings up the forward email dialogue. But how do I add contacts from my address book to the email I am forwarding. Am I missing something really simple or does gmail not allow you to do this?

With all the rules for submitting sites to the search engines and non-compliance means you risk being banned, from being indexed,(Google especially), why is there so much garbage on there? It is worse, not better. Sometimes you have to get through pages of junk before you find what you are looking for. Are the spiders sleeping, or have people just found a new way to scam the robots?
