Q: What's the best way to learn Photoshop
Submitted By: elcaminos, 307 days, 7 hours, 11 minutes ago
Are there any online resources or tutorials for learning Photoshop? I have seen books like "Photoshop for dummies" but knowing the commands doesn't actually teach you how to use it. A tutorial would be the best way for me to learn.
Please try not to post duplicate answers... if you see an answer that you want to post, just add a vote to it and you can add a note as well. Thank You

If you're willing to pay for a tutorial I've heard that the lessons at www.lynda.com are excellent.
For free resources www.tutorialized.com currently has 3000 Photoshop tutorials.
My personal advice is to get Photoshop, install it, load some images up in it and play around with the different functions. I did that and it greatly sped up my learning process. If you know something specific that you want to learn, check tutorialized.com and go from there. Just make sure you backup the images you're modifying first!Submitted By: elcaminos

I would say lots of practice... think of a project that will challange you and then when you hit walls look up ways to overcome them on google... that way you get to explore the software and work on your own project which is rewarding.
