Does life immitate MTV, or does MTV immitate life?

MTV is completely unrealistic.
Only total morons imitate MTV.

I believe both because most shows from MTV are reality shows or a form of them so in that case MTV immitates life but when some people watch MTV for their "viewing pleasure" they try to act or "do" what they see on tv so in those ways life immitates MTV
