Q: How can I get more people to watch my web based television show?
Submitted By: Jasper, 243 days, 13 hours, 34 minutes ago
My friends and I have been filming a show that we post on the web, but viewing is very low. Where are good places to advertise this so that more people will stop by to watch? Right now its mostly friends and family.
Please try not to post duplicate answers... if you see an answer that you want to post, just add a vote to it and you can add a note as well. Thank You

Dude, just put the link up here. Also have your friends post links on all links of forums and stuff.
More links = more people.

Dude, this is a sweet show. I am amazed at the quality that you have done with just some free time and a few college guys. I guess the best way to get more viewers would be to make more episodes and put the link out on other websites like this. I'll email it to all my friends for you, and other people should, too.

if it meets those criteria then submit it to digg, slashdot and heck forward it to the guys who run dl.tv because they might put out the word about it for you...

Links to directly download the show

Links to directly download the show would be good. I don't like watching movies/shows in a web browser because I like saving the shows to my computer for later viewing. Also perhaps a description of what the show is about and who the cast members are and maybe a summary or show notes or something for each episode (and maybe say the file size and length/duration of each episode).

I'd get some lights (or a camera that looks better in low light), and a microphone or two so the sound doesn't have such an echo. Also try to have the cameraman not laugh during scenes!
