Is there a good product or houshold items I can use to remove a few oil spills from my driveway?

I'm looking at buying an older house and tryint to flip it... so I'm looking for quick fixes I can do to gain value.

It's clogged with hair and I can't get any tools in there to pull the hair out.  Is there some chemical that will eat through the hair but not the pipes?

Well spring is coming very soon and I wanted to do some spring cleaning including orginizing my closed... I have way too many clothes so those have to go but I'm also looking for a shelf system that will work well... any links would be great :)

About 8 months ago I moved house and my washing mashine now gets some sun through the laundry window. I think the sun has caused the white plastic to discolour, its sort of gone a creamy yellow colour where the sun hits it. What can I do to get it back to its pristine white?

I have inherited a really ugly door that has been spray painted black, who knows how long ago. I would love to paint over it, but didn't know if there's a proper way to make sure the paint actually stays on and covers the black. Do I just need a good primer coat, or is just painting over it enough?

I have to buy all new appliances.  Any recomendations for style and colour?  I like stainless steel but i hear it's hard to keep clean.  I also like flat top stoves but am scared that spills would cook onto the top or the top would break.  My wife likes gas stoves but I can just picture an oven mit or something catching on fire.

Anyone have any input?

I'm setting up a shaved ice bar and need 50 matching pint bottles suitable for fitting with pour spouts.  Clear glass liquor bottles would be ideal, but I have no idea how to obtain them.  Should I call local bars, the recycling plant?  Does some company sell them in bulk online?

If you had the option to live in a floating house as described here , what do you think might be the major changes that would happen in your life as a result?

I'm moving into a house and have a lot of work to do in terms of remodeling as it hasn't been touched since the 80's. For some reason the previous owner had a fascination with mirrors. Has anyone had any experience removing a mirror covering an entire wall?

What's the idea time of year to start growing tomatoes?

I think it would be great to have fresh tomatoes all year round... anyone try this? Do you have to kill the plants after the inital harvesting?
