I have a question that might seem stupid… lol Does anyone know of a good website where I can search for stuff and maybe have my questions answered while doing it? Like you know, sometimes you want to find something and in the midst of searching you just wanna ask someone about it… Just a place I can talk about it with others and sort of make sense of the search results I get. I guess something that’s a cross between social networking and searching?
Please try not to post duplicate answers... if you see an answer that you want to post, just add a vote to it and you can add a note as well. Thank You

Omgili.com might be a place to look… it seems to pull results from discussion boards, etc. Although it doesn’t seem like you could ask anyone a question…
Another option is Searchles.com.
I heard about this new site called Faimous.com. Yup, that’s with an “i”. It claims to combine both the elements of search engine with community – a social way of searching, basically. I’ve tried it out and it seems useful. You might wanna give it a shot.0

Yes, Faimous.com is not the prettiest site...

but I think it has something valid to offer in terms of actual customized results. It’s pretty exciting, really. If you want to read something you get results to both bookstores and online ebooks and it somehow seems more natural in terms of response. There is that cool thing where you can Faim it or whatever, and you can save it so your search queries are always there. So I can always go back to it… I’ve been using it now a few times. It needs work on it though... there needs to be some improvement.

Some thoughts...
Faimous.com has a kick-ass concept, but the look is too much of a no-frills look. I don’t like Omgili quite as much, however.
