Is there any program for making 3D coloring books?
Submitted By: mister.joshua (98)
I downloaded Calipygian for making 3D anaglyphs last year, but what I really want are 3D line drawings like in the coloring books I used to get as a kid. Every source I've found has stated that, due to the complex math involved, it is nearly impossible to create those from scratch. I see them all the time, though, and lots of "fake" 3D images where the photo is just split into layers and each layer is given a different depth. Somebody must be using a computer to make those images.
Best Video Compression
Submitted By: ()
Is there a video compression codec that can compress a file much smaller than divx or xvid? For example does the 3g mobile phone video compression codecs create smaller files? Should preferably be free. When is that one coming that has a 10 times higher compression? 70Mb DVD quality movies, sweeet.
What is the name of that file browser?
Submitted By: dev (92)
I remember about a file browser that would maximize and use the entire screen to show every file on the hard drive. Also, the files and folders were represented by rectangles, and the size of each rectangle on the screen was proportional to the size of the file on the hard drive. It wasn't useful for everyday use, but it was great at visualizing your hard drive and at showing what folders and files are taking up a lot of space, etc. Also it was free and I think I heard about it on digg several months ago. Does anyone remember the name of this program?

Displaying webpage in FLASH?
Submitted By: Weston (35)
Using Macromedia Flash 8, how can I load an external webpage into a Flash document in the same way that an iFrame is used in HTML? I'm creating a small flash document for a website and it needs to be able to load an external webpage and display it on a small portion of the stage just as an iFrame is used in HTML to acheive the same purpose. The webpage that needs to be displayed with be changed from time to time and I need to make it so that when the page is updated it will automatically update within the Flash document. The Flash document cannot be updated every day so it really has to be able to do what I'm asking. Can someone help? Thanks!
