Does Windows XP perform much better when you have the Classic taskbar instead of the default blue one?

Are there any online resources or tutorials for learning Photoshop?  I have seen books like "Photoshop for dummies" but knowing the commands doesn't actually teach you how to use it.  A tutorial would be the best way for me to learn.

Can anyone tell me how to automatically mimize an application when it isn't in focus

For a few weeks now, whenever I save or open a file in any program (Word, Firefox, etc), the list of files and folders are in reverse alphabetical order. Even if I re-sort by name, they return to reverse alphabetical next time I view the folder. I have no idea why this is happening, but it's fairly annoying. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have a Intel Pentium D Dual Core Processor 830 with Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology (EM64T) and i know that the MotherBoard supports it, but i don't know if the EM64T feature will work on windows media center ? does it ? or do i need to get another OS with 64bit support ?
